Trump assaulted, defends himself admirably in Republican debate!

Bombarded left & right with everything from lies to half-truths, The Donald fared quite well debating and looks good heading into Super Tuesday, 1 March 2016. Online polls support the contention that Trump performed just fine in the 10th Republican Campaign 2016 debate.

Trump seeks win in West & gets it!

Donald Trump barnstormed Nevada & took it--in grand style, winning by a landslide that more than doubles the tallies of the next two finishers. With large turnout & victories among just about all demographic groups in Nevada-- including Hispanics, despite two candidates with Latino surnames--he has won in the East, South, Midwest, and now the West.

Wild!

No surprises in the Democratic contest exist.

Trump ahead in most--but not all--polls

The Donald has said repeatedly that he hopes to "run the table" (win everything) in the Campaign 2016 presidential contests subsequent to Iowa, but he faces Super Tuesday and other battles soon, where he is ahead in only 10 out of 14 polls in these areas--specifically, Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, and Texas (and a few more down the road, by the way, like New Mexico and Utah).

Needless to say, he has more work to do if he wants to go undefeated the rest of the way.

Trump, Clinton far ahead nationally in polls

Donald Trump continues to fend off Republican rivals Ted Cruz & Marco Rubio the two so-called up-and-comers in the presidential Campaign 2016 race.

Bernie Sanders seems to be faltering more & more, perhaps due to his inept debate performances, where he constantly "agrees with almost everything the secretary (Hillary Clinton) says." Why vote for him if he is virtually no different than his competitor? To make matters worse, he continues to forgive her for her email transgressions.

Trump triumphant in Campaign 2016 South Carolina primary

By taking South Carolina, and New Hampshire before that, Trump stands to win the Republican presidential nomination if history repeats itself--for all Republicans who have won both of the aforementioned states have also taken their nomination.

On the Democratic side, the Clintons inch closer to a political dynasty with a tidy victory in the Nevada caucus, leaving Bernie's campaign burning up in the Las Vegas desert.

Trump loses Campaign 2016 South Carolina debate

No, The Donald is not a winner in the Campaign 2016 primary debate, according to a scientifically-designed poll. This poll differs from the online polls where voters contribute randomly, in that it is structured to reflect the viewing & listening debate population using professional polling demographic practices.

Perhaps, the scientifically-conducted polls reflect a weakness in support for Trump, a weakness that was masked by those online popularity contests that Trump almost always wins.

South Carolina Campaign 2016 primary decision: Knockout for Donald Trump, according to online poll

In what could better be called a slugfest than a political contest in the Campaign 2016 Republican South Carolina primary, Donald Trump hammered Ted Cruz for being a liar & the Bush family for 9/11 & lying about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

And to boot, Trump also hammered the Bush family for using private eminent domain for their stadium project in Texas, insinuating Jeb Bush is a hypocrite for blaming The Donald for using private eminent domain. Trump has argued that the Keystone Pipeline, a private project Jeb Bush strongly supports, extensively proposes use of private eminent domain, which is, by the way, the purchase of someone's private party coercively to further a project.

All this, public sentiment shows, Trump scored a decisive victory.

Free trade: Great American swindle

Decent-paying jobs depend on not having to contend with nickel-and-dime wage payers offering cents-per hour slavery, yet America continues its chase to the bottom, as low wages everywhere else rob great American workers of decent wages.

Go Ford, General Motors, and Carrier! Keep robbing America! Ford, GM rip us off.
Carrier rips us off, too.

Trump, Sanders win jackpot in New Hampshire primary 2016

Donald Trump restored his status to front-runner, lapping the Republican competition by a huge, double-digit margin--a much-needed big win. The others scored too lowly to mention here.

Bernie Sanders, likewise, amassed huge numbers in a double-digit victory over the lackluster Hillary Clinton.

Could these lopsided results be the quintessential middle finger to the establishment?

Iowa caucus final results

With the Iowa caucus 2016 results in, one may wonder how a loser--namely, Bernie Sanders-- in the contest can rejoice; to me that's like losing a baseball game by 1 run. Let's face it--a loss is a loss, so he should be crying.

The Donald, on the other hand, was appropriately somber in losing.

Republicans experienced record voter turnout, attracting a whopping 186,000, shattering their record of 121,000 set in 2012.

Democrats, on the other hand, disappointed with voter tally of only 171,000, way down from their tally of 236,000 in 2008.

Online poll one day before debate results show a rout in progress

Just before the New Hampshire primary, momentum is with Trump, perhaps showing he can flush the GOP toilet in an effort to rid the party of the rot and cheats and pretenders.

Cruz the cheat sends out bogus "Voter violation notices" and lies about Ben Carson's status in the campaign; Rubio the deceiver doesn't seem to be anything more than a robotic reciter of the same info relentlessly; and the others, the rot, are so low in the polls that they have no business still being in the race & are decaying like corpses.

In the spirit of poll madness during this phase of Campaign 2016, we, I think, do best by focusing on as many polls as possible--with the hope of exposing those morons who masquerade as messiahs and discarding them (like we did with Rand Paul, Scott Walker, Rick Perry and others).

Trump on top; Cruz kicked to the curb

The Donald is at the top of the polls in the New Hampshire primary race, while  Ted Cruz slips into third place. Campaign 2016 roars ahead

Campaign 2016 has clobbered front-runners in Iowa, and has clobbered many of us voters as well. Hell, even a billionaire received an ass-kicking of enormous magnitude, despite months & months of poll and crowd-sized supremacy at his rallies.

What is the significance of the billionaire's loss? I surmise it is similar to an undefeated boxer who loses inexplicably and thus has his career forever tarnished. Let's face it: Trump lost inexplicably.

On the other side, a family--the Clinton sideshow-- with a history of decades of illicit behavior consisting of lewdness, impeachment, sexual harassment, financial scandal, treasonous handling of government secrets, and scandalously-accumulated vast wealth, nevertheless rose above the sleaze and put the far Left in the trash, if not to death. McCarthy would be proud!

U.S. energy industry on the rocks

As crude oil prices plummet just about everywhere to under $30 per barrel, the U.S. risks another energy industry collapse similar to the one in the 1980s. The reason for this is that oil prices must be at roughly $70 per barrel or above for profitability to be realized in countries outside the Middle East.

What is the benefit of lower crude oil prices to the U.S. economy? Not much, as evidenced by the calculation that a halving of oil prices results in only about a 0.5% in GDP here, economists contend.

Trump, Cruz in a road race to finish line in Iowa

The first primary contest of Campaign 2016 in Iowa could very well be a decisive factor in the primary race, as Trump insists victory is crucial, and as Cruz has practically lived in Iowa over the last number of weeks, suggesting Iowa is critical for him also. Perhaps "win it or lose it" in Iowa is the attitude concerning Campaign 2016. Trump is slightly ahead, a much-needed reality for the reality star and overall mogul and politician...

More nuclear power in Third World

Though many, especially activists, fear nuclear power expanding into underdeveloped lands, both the U.S. & Russia are spearheading nuclear projects in Cambodia and Vietnam (Russia to go nuclear in Cambodia. U.S. follows suit in Vietnam)

This is astonishing considering that Cambodia is so poorly developed that the United Nations had to assume financial responsibility for it recently. Vietnam fares not much better when considering that the going wage rate is about $2 per day.

Perhaps the logic is that nuclear development there will lead to economic progress that will emancipate both countries from Third World status. Or, will this lead to further nuclear weapons proliferation?

Who knows?
Third World nuclear windfall!

Jesus did and did not exist

The question concerning Jesus' existence has a twofold answer: 1)Yes, he did exist, and 2) no, he most likely didn't.
Taking this question strictly on mythical grounds, like whether Zeus mythically but not physically existed, one can say yes, Jesus exists. Taking this question historically, on the other hand, one can say proof of Jesus' existence is sorely lacking.

An interesting read on this subject is Bart Ehrman's book Did Jesus Exist?. Even though this book contends that Jesus existed historically, it sorts through the historical record frantically and unsuccessfully, to a large extent, in attempting to prove Jesus' existence. Simply put, historical accounts of Jesus' existence are quite lacking, especially those records produced (none, really) during his lifetime. In fact, the best contended historical evidence comes from Josephus, who was born 4 years after Jesus' death, and his account, only one paragraph in length, has been widely discredited as fraudulent.

Mythically, like Zeus, yes, an abundance of literature exists, thus his omnipresence today, but myth does not translate necessarily to reality.

Ehrman's book, nevertheless, is interesting and thus a decent read.
Decent read

Are psychics genuine?

Can we communicate with the dead? Can we foresee reality? If so, who can? This book, The Witch of Lime Street: Seance, Seduction, and Houdini in the Spirit World by David Jaher, addresses these questions within the context of Spiritualism, a movement that flourished in the United States early in the 20th century.

Margery Crandon, a reputed psychic, takes on the establishment, with dazzling results. The best of the best from the scientific community, including the prestigious publication Scientific American, scrutinizes her extensively.

A must read, as the following review validates: “Riveting reading...flamboyant, enigmatic, and complex characters. [Jaher] is also a diligent researcher, and his storytelling skills are impressive.”

The Donald grandparenting

The Donald here adorably imparting wisdom!
A young one learning from the master!

Full of fear & loathing

Hey, it's the campaign season! Campaign 2016!

A highly recommended reading sure to boost political enthusiasm is Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72.
This book details what the author, Hunter S. Thompson, considers to be wrong with American politics: namely, Richard Nixon, a dark and venal creature so vile that America sucks largely because of him!

Written in a highly engaging, humorous manner, this book will both fascinate and entertain you. One review: “Obscene, horrid, repellent . . . Driving, urgent, candid, searing . . . A fascinating, compelling book.” —The New York Post

A must read during the campaign season!
Indispensable political wisdom!
